MONTH 1: Vaseline
Skin condition: Burning, stinging, itching, inflamed, swollen, etc... HOT rash.
During month 1 Vaseline was all I could use. It was also all I was used to tolerating with my steroid skin. I would coat myself with it. This was when I had the BURNING, STINGING skin. Before the ooze started. I would shower without soap when I could tolerate it. The vaseline would sting at first but would go away. This month was a whirlwind because I didn't know I was in TSW for a while, so I had no idea what I was doing or in for.
Skin condition: middle of month 2 was the beginning of the ooze.... My skin went from oozing to crusty to SEVERELY dry. So dry and swollen I couldn't make facial expressions, eat from a normal size spoon, or turn my head. Month 2 was HORRIBLE.
Gosh those pics are hard to look at. In this phase, I used a lot of antibiotic products to keep infection away and used the distilled to dry out the ooze. I sprayed the oozy parts with colloidal silver and washed it with distilled water and either apple cider vinegar or epsom salt to disinfect. I went the whole TSW with not one single infection and attribute it to the colloidal silver. I think the ACV also helped, but it burned so I used it sparingly. I used NO moisturizer during this hell because it felt horrible and just made me more itchy. I hardly moved my face at all during this whole horrible phase.
