Products

The products I've used have been varied, but here is what I used at different stages....

MONTH 1:  Vaseline

Skin condition:  Burning, stinging, itching, inflamed, swollen, etc... HOT rash.

MONTH1

During month 1 Vaseline was all I could use.  It was also all I was used to tolerating with my steroid skin.  I would coat myself with it.  This was when I had the BURNING, STINGING skin.  Before the ooze started.  I would shower without soap when I could tolerate it.  The vaseline would sting at first but would go away.  This month was a whirlwind because I didn't know I was in TSW for a while, so I had no idea what I was doing or in for.

MONTH 2-3:  Sovereign Silver, Apple Cider Vinegar, Distilled Water, Epsom Salt

Products

Skin condition:  middle of month 2 was the beginning of the ooze.... My skin went from oozing to crusty to SEVERELY dry.  So dry and swollen I couldn't make facial expressions, eat from a normal size spoon, or turn my head.  Month 2 was HORRIBLE.

Ooze

Gosh those pics are hard to look at.  In this phase, I used a lot of antibiotic products to keep infection away and used the distilled to dry out the ooze.  I sprayed the oozy parts with colloidal silver and washed it with distilled water and either apple cider vinegar or epsom salt to disinfect.  I went the whole TSW with not one single infection and attribute it to the colloidal silver.  I think the ACV also helped, but it burned so I used it sparingly.  I used NO moisturizer during this hell because it felt horrible and just made me more itchy.  I hardly moved my face at all during this whole horrible phase.

  2. Dear Jen,
My name is Michelle Mitchell, first I would like to thank you for your transparency and courage in sharing your journey with the world. As a woman and subscribing to a bit of vanity I know it must have been difficult at times to share your photos and I commend you for that.
The reason I am contacting you is I have developed a natural product originally to address my nephews issues with eczema and TSW and it worked so well for him that I have made it available to the public. Before creating this product for my nephew I had no idea how difficult it is for people who suffer to find a product that helps and does not create unwanted side effects. My sister in law struggled for years to find help for my nephew, especially when he was a baby.
I would like to invite you to visit my page at www.relieveskin.com to learn more about Ecza-Mend and if your interested I would like to send you a bottle to try for yourself. If Ecza-Mend proves helpful for you I would love your feedback.
My goal is to get Ecza-Mend into the hands of people it would help the most. I tried working within the medical community, but was told Ecza-Mend was too close to a cure and there is no money in a cure so they were not interested. It frustrated me to learn that the medical community's goal is only symptom management so as to keep their clients returning.
Ecza-Mend is not a magical cure, it won't clear up the symptoms over night, however we have received many positive testimonials from people who suffered that with consistent use it dramatically reduced their symptoms and lessened their breakouts.
If you visit the website there is an endorsement from a physician who has been using Ecza-Mend for 6 months, he rarely has a break out any more.
I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your time and your blogg.

    Best wishes,
    Michelle Mitchell

  6. Hi Jen, thanks for this wonderful self-help blog. I deal with psoriasis and I think that more or less, the root cause of both these problems is the same- compromised body metabolism. In short, these skin problems have their root in our gut. A healthy diet, positive lifestyle, stress management and the use of dietary supplements are helping me to manage it. I use the word "manage"because we know that these skin problems can't be sorted out once for all. But, we can manage them well in a safe manner to enjoy a better life. Would love to have your thoughts on this...God Bless you :-) This is my blog link- Psoriasis Self Management

  7. Hi Jen, thanks for sharing your journey with all of us. It needs tremendous amount of courage and self acceptance to share your struggle with others. Well, I am drinking warm lemon water in the morning and it is quite helping me in having smooth bowel movements and somehow, improve my body metabolism. In my case, I firmly believe that eczema is quite related to poor gut health. Lemon water for Eczema
